Bonus euro days

Hey everyone! 

A couple of bonus days here in Girona. 

My plans had me initially heading home Monday but fully booked trains on both days and a canceled ATL based photo project meant extending my stay through to Wednesday. 

We planned a group trail day Tuesday, turning into an absolute mega day out. Some pretty big palmares in our group with the likes of Puck Pieterse and Lamperti amongst. No feeling like shredding some big downhill lines with your closest friends. 

BMC launched their new Roadmachine this week here in Girona and I got a chance to see the bike out on the road. The new bike promises speed, but with enhanced focus on comfort, endurance, and overall versatility. Roads, all roads, and gravel fit the repertoire of this machine. Really excited to test it out in the near future. 

It’s Wednesday as I write this and I was up and out early this AM to the train station on my way back to Atlanta. My suitcase, bike bag, and carry-on were deemed as “too much luggage” for their fast train standards and I was abruptly turned away. No taxis available meant one final bonus day here. Just back from an easy trail shred with a similar crew of the most fun shredders around. 

Fingers crossed for a smooth travel day Thursday with a quick turn around before Sunny King. Especially excited with the fitness coming off of this block.
